Decypharr

Media gateway for Debrid & Usenet.

Decypharr bridges your media automation tools (Sonarr, Radarr, etc.) with Debrid services and Usenet providers. Instead of downloading torrents and NZB files to your local storage, Decypharr streams them directly from the cloud.

Without Decypharr:

  1. Sonarr/Radarr finds a torrent
  2. qBittorrent downloads it to your hard drive (takes time, uses disk space)
  3. Your media server (Plex/Jellyfin) plays from local storage

With Decypharr:

  1. Sonarr/Radarr finds a torrent
  2. Decypharr sends it to your Debrid provider (Real Debrid, All Debrid, etc.)
  3. The Debrid service downloads it to their servers (fast, no local disk needed)
  4. Decypharr mounts the remote files as if they were on your computer
  5. Your media server streams directly from the cloud
  • No Downloads - Files stream from Debrid/Usenet providers, saving local storage
  • Instant Playback - Start watching while Debrid downloads (or use their cache)
  • Works with Arrs - Drop-in replacement for qBittorrent/Sabnzbd
  • Hybrid Support - Use both Debrid (torrents) and Usenet simultaneously
  • Auto-Repair - Fixes broken links automatically

1. You Send Requests

Sonarr/Radarr sends torrents or NZB files to Decypharr (like it would to qBittorrent/Sabnzbd).

2. Decypharr Processes

Decypharr forwards torrents to your Debrid provider or processes NZBs via direct NNTP connection.

3. Cloud Storage

Debrid services download torrents to their servers. Usenet content is streamed on-demand from NNTP servers.

4. Files Appear Locally

Decypharr mounts remote files using DFS, Rclone, or serves via WebDAV - appears as local filesystem.

Debrid Integration

Works with Real Debrid, All Debrid, Debrid Link, and Torbox. Add multiple providers with automatic load balancing.

Direct Usenet Streaming

Connect to NNTP servers directly - no Sabnzbd/NZBGet required. Process NZBs and stream content on-demand.

Flexible Mounting

Choose DFS (custom VFS), embedded Rclone, external Rclone, or WebDAV depending on your needs.

Arr Compatible

Drop-in replacement for qBittorrent (torrents) and Sabnzbd (Usenet) in Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, etc.

Auto-Repair Worker

Monitors your library and automatically fixes broken links, expired downloads, and missing files.

Web Interface

Manage torrents, configure settings, browse files, and monitor library health via built-in web UI.

  • Media automation users running Sonarr/Radarr who want to avoid local downloads
  • Debrid subscribers looking to integrate Real Debrid/All Debrid with *Arr apps
  • Usenet users who want direct NNTP streaming without separate download clients
  • Hybrid setups combining both Debrid (for torrents) and Usenet (for releases)
  • Low-storage environments where storing full media files locally isn’t practical
  1. Decypharr (this software)
  2. At least one:
    • Debrid subscription (Real Debrid, All Debrid, Debrid Link, or Torbox)
    • Usenet provider with NNTP access
  3. Media automation (Sonarr, Radarr, etc.) - optional but recommended
  4. Media server (Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, etc.) - optional
